Your dance championship in legs, with the overall ranking calculated
A championship in legs lives on continuity: the same couple must be the same couple at every leg, with the same number, and the points from each leg must add up without mistakes. Usually that is a spreadsheet someone updates by hand after each competition. Here the championship gathers the legs, recognises who is competing and recalculates the overall ranking when you publish the results.
Legs, on and off the platform
A leg can be an event run on DanceMatik or a competition held elsewhere, whose results you upload.
Events as legs
Attach events you already have to the championship, or generate the next leg by copying the first: it starts as a draft, with competitions and images.
Legs with results from Excel
If a leg took place off the platform, you upload its results from an Excel file and they count like the others.
The same number at every leg
The championship holds the competition number: whoever has number 10 at the first leg has 10 at the following ones too, from registration.
Competitions recognised across legs
Each championship competition has its name, formation, type, category and level, and stays the same competition at every leg.
Points and rankings, calculated
You decide the scoring rules; the platform does the sums.
Points tables
A standard table for the championship and custom tables for the competitions that should weigh more.
Participation points
Besides placings you can award points to those who enter, with different values per competition type.
Overall and school rankings
Rankings add up the points from the legs for each soloist, couple or group, and can also be read by school.
Recalculated when you publish
Publish the results of a leg and the ranking updates; withdraw the publication and it goes back to how it was.
